Call of duty Ghosts

Task 1
the genre of my film will be Action/ Rom Com and it will be set in the school because its an appropriate place for students

there is going to be 5-6 characters and all are equally important as the other characters

there will be 20 seconds of clips and 10 seconds explaining other important stuff like the release date and directors

Task 2
my story is about 2 boys who both like the same girl and then 1 guy gets the girl and the other one gets jealous and goes crazy and chases him around the school and then eventually gets cornered then gets stabbed and then the end bit he walking all crazy then eventually falls on the floor.

Task 3 & 4
A 21st century action film around a school where two young boys chase the stunning girl but she can only go out with one of them so there is a game of who can get her first but then the worst event could of happened in that situation when one of them get her and the other stabs him with a sharp ending but 10 years later he meets him again but this time he was a post man and when he comes and knocks on his door and then delivers him a package but it isn't a good one lets just say that it makes the film a explosion.

my genre that my film is going to be about is Action/Rom Com the reason i have chosen this is because most people enjoy a nice comedy film so why not mix it with another popular genre which is action but in my film there is small elements of romance but the romance leads to all the action and comedy scenes

one film that is similar to mine is Die hard not the characters and ages but with teenagers die hard involves loads of running and there is tiny bit of romance maybe not as much as mine will have but this film includes all the key ideas for my own film but there wont be just one main character there will be a bunch of main characters.

my film targets a whole variety of different target audience groups including teenagers adults and young adults but anyone above the age of 12 anyone can watch it but the specific target is teenagers because they watch stuff similar and related to this that's is why i am targeting teenagers.

the main characters are all the people in there maybe some of the people wont get as much dialogue as the other characters but we are all equally as important as the other characters

4. the target audience this film is trying to aim at is mainly boys because boys are more interested in guns and fight scenes and robots than girls but the age rating has a large variety of categories children,teens,adult,elderly but the age rating would be 12+ so anywhere between 12-50.

5. I think that this film was successful because with the time and effort gone into this film it wasn't going to be an unsuccessful film it has nearly all the key conventions that trailers need to be successful and because its an old film I watched the film and i think its the best one by far.

Trailers analysis

Transformers 2 ROTF
In my opinion I think that the transformers 2 revenge of the fallen trailer genre is based on Action with little elements of other genres based around the main genre. There are small elements of adventure, sci fi and romance in the trailer. I thought that these genres match with the trailer because nobody sees a car that transforms into a alien robot before so this science fictional character aren't what we see in daily life I also thought it had hints of romance because the main character is a boy and there's is a pretty girl which we can infer that there could be a scene where its romantic. the main film is based on action between to sides of the alien robots battle it out on earth to save the human race before the evil side destroyed it.

Nacho libre
in my opinion I think that the film trailer Nacho libre is based more or less based on comedy although the story line says that he wants to win a tournament which some people would think its a action/thriller film but its made to make you laugh most of the scenes is of him training for a match or trying to impress the women he likes but the actor Jack Black is a comedian type of actor and appears in this type of film

        My Game Advert

I did my game advert on the EA first person shooter game Battlefield there is four games of the series

and the third game really impressed critics and so number 4 will be something special.

MEDIA project Camera Shots

This is an Establishing shot this shots sets one of the scenes of the film. It shows the school as the scene of the storyline and there might be different place (e.g. Library)

This is an Wide shot similar to the establishing shot but this shot has the victim and the bully as the storyline is based on a kid getting bullied. This is also a shot from a high angle.

Shows the bully stand where the victim was standing but the victim is no longer here, this is also a wide shot but only showing the bully from a distance.

The bully getting caught trying to throw a bottle at the victim but then the teacher finds him and catches him red handed. this is shot over the bully's shoulders so all the interest goes to the bully emotions.

This is a long shot showing the bully once again trying to throw and hit him with a bottle.

this is an high angle of the victim in the teachers office and waiting for the teacher to arrive.

this is another high angle picture with the bully looking all but angry showing his emotion by not obeying the teacher.

This is a medium shot showing that the bully did not listen to the teacher and still bully through out his lessons.

the victim doesn't know what he is in for as the bully is sneaking up to him from behind this is a unusual perspective to take a shot from as you are looking at both people in different angles.

the victim stands up to the bully as he doesn't want to be bullied any more and this shot is a medium close up of both victim and bully.

the bully has his last say as he threw the water bottle at the victim.

this is a unusual perspective as the water bottle is diving in to hit the victim and the focus is on the direction of the water bottle if it will hit him.

Media Fifa 14 Analysis

Language
The title of the Game Fifa 14 isn't so special from the previous Fifa games as it can’t be changed because it’s just a better version of Fifa 13 with new features and game modes. The background image goes well with the picture as it like a stadium and the words “The Next Generation” (in Capitals so its like a news bulletin) makes people think that this Fifa 14 is going to be special compared to the other ones all of these features are key to a good video game advert.Using the Hash tag #XboxReveal gives Xbox gamers a chance to see it first before the PS3 gamers

this game was produced by EA Sports and it is available on multiple platforms for example: Xbox 360, Xbox one, Ps3, Ps4, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, PC etc… The previous game Fifa 13 was in the top ten of best-selling games in the world with selling more than 14.5 million copies the world’s best football game to date.

Audience
this game is mainly aimed at boys as boys are more into these kinds of games, also this game has a reasonable  wide age range might apply due to family appeal…

Representation

EA are really good fans of Lionel Messi making him the highest rated player in the game also EA and Messi have made a contract asking him to appear on the cover of the FIFA 14 advert along with Gareth Bale appearing in the new Real Madrid. The advert of the game shows one of the best players(Messi) to star as the cover of the game to persuade people to play the game because the celebrity stars and people follow this particular celebrity to raise more copies of the game sales.

Fruit Bowl

This is my fruit bowl made with the fruity pallet of colours that I have made I think that the colours match with each other and the picture with different fruits all different colours. I made this using the application Adobe Photoshop CS6, I think I did a good job making this fruit bowl look fruity. I nearly finished my other fruit bowl but I didn't it was about winter it would've been mostly different shades of blue.

face book page I don’t know if it’s the official page or unofficial page but this was the one with the most likes and here is the description of it.

And EA has posted videos on their website and YouTube about what new features it has from the previous Fifa games and maybe tutorials of how to play the game.

Target audience would probably be maybe 90% boys and 10% girls as boys are more interested in the game because doing research there are no female you tubers that do Fifa videos apart from a few and probably from a age for 9+ I don’t think people over the age of 40 is into football games.

with all the emotions of the relief and frustration this game has provided there has been so many complaints to EA about there servers and when they play online they suddenly lose connection to the Ea servers with often ends a loss for the user who had there connection lost here is the view of a person who has experienced this

EA should feel embarrassed with themselves for having such s****y servers. I'm a huge fan of Ultimate Team and can't get enough of it but I'm afraid EA are really trying to ruin things for me. I get signed out of the EA servers so many times during games which means I have lots of games that haven't even counted. And EVERY SINGLE TIME my internet connection has been perfect so its not on my end at all. Just 5 minutes ago I was playing a cup game on UT and I come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. The game literally just finished and it said I've been singed out of EA servers. And to add insult to in injury and this happens all of the time obviously, it still counts as a game played on your players contracts so I have to fork out extra money on contracts when I'm trying to save up. Does anyone else have this trouble with EA signing you out from their servers? C'mon I know you all do. Now make me feel better and tell me about how you've all been screwed over.

Media group project

On Wednesday the 3rd of july in media we were put into teams of 3 it was usually meant to be teams of 4 but then some people weren't at the lesson due to trips and work experience. our task was to create and advertise a game called the hunger games training and we had to advertise it to the community and public and so we can sell it. our group were the winners because of our ideas and especially the logo i made for the game as it was outstanding and the price of the game was cheaper than most other games that is on the market right now it was 30 pounds and i think that we were the group who should have one it so it was the right decision

Mohammed B Textual Analysis

The clip that I watched was a scene from the grudge. The genre of the film was mixed with horror and science fiction. Science fiction came into the movie by the villain type character was a little girl but not the little cute ones you see in the buggy’s. Yes, is she normal with powers such as that? The target audience that it is aimed at is for teenagers and adults as its not suitable for children so then I would say 13+ I wouldn't recommend it to people over the age of 60 as they could get scared a lot and unfortunately get a heart attack. The platform that this piece of media could be played on TV, DVD, YouTube, On Demand and something that I wouldn't recommend doing is that downloading the movie illegally as you could get sent to jail for doing that so don’t do it.

All About Myself

My Name is Mohammed but people call me by my middle name which is Hamzah I have chosen media because I was recommended by my sister to do it and she got a A and she told me it was easy and fun. I chose media also because I like to act and make films and trailers. This led to me choosing media as it is a subject that I like. Also it links to a job that I want to do when I'm older so it will help with my future. I am in year 8 right now going into year 9. I Hope to achieve an A in this subject as I will put in the time and effort which is required in this subject controlled essay also whilst I am trying to achieve an A or A* I want to enjoy media  at the same time as I work hard.
